Tourism : beach or mountain ?

Noeux-les-Mines is in fact the only commune in France that has both a beach and a ski resort! The facilities at Loisinord are quite outstanding in that they include a skis slope and a water sports centre on the same site.

The CCNE created an Intercommunal Tourism Office and developed a tourism policy that promotes all of its assets.

As a group of urban communes and villages, the area has all the charm of country landscapes, where hikers can enjoy going for walks and watching nature. You can find out about the history of the communes by visiting the museum or going on one of the themed walking tours (history of mining and reconversions).
